International Remittances Raise More… Attract More… in Cameroon

According to the leading world digital remitter, WorldRemit, the income generated from remittances originating from the Cameroon diaspora amounted to USD 1.2 billion, that is, FCFA 585 billion in 2015. Following WorldRemit’s report, this amount has more than doubled the amount remittances raised in the last two years (FCFA 218.7 billion in 2013).
