The remittance market in Cameroon, since June 2016, has been witnessing a slow-down in its activities. The latter follows the pic remittance season that was marked by public holidays, the National Day, religious events and International Days, which saw operators adopt both PUSH (launch raffle draws and drop transfer fees) and PULL (offer special promotions and offer diversified services via partnerships) strategies to boost their profits and maintain market shares.
